No, not La Grange, and for the last time - I am not a member of ZZ Top! It all began with an amusing yet tender family sentiment - my children's profound attachment to my beard. Each time I trimmed it, my youngest would well up with tears, seeming not to recognize me without my full facial hair. I have always sported a beard, but never truly let it flourish. For the sake of my children, I decided to break from my trimming routine.
